DoT, Rajasthan brings out newsletter 'Destination Rajasthan' :

The Department of Tourism, Rajasthan launched its four-page newsletter 'Destination Rajasthan' earlier this month. The maiden issue was released by the Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. The publication, to be published every month, will carry features, snippets, interviews and in-depth stories related to tourism. The first newsletter carries an exclusive interview of Minister for Tourism, Devi Singh Bhati who said that the focus of the DoT will be on improving infrastructure, developing tourism circuits and creating a tourist-friendly Rajasthan. Enjoy an Indian Holiday full of monuments, history, culture, festivity and color.

Bhati also said that the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels luxury train was likely to start operations by December this year. The luxury train will be marketed through advertisements in well-known international travel publications, as well as through tour operators and travel agents in the state. The Minister of State for Tourism, Usha Punia said, "The publication will go a long way in highlighting tourism initiatives and in keeping the industry informed."
